China-made medicine caused the death of dozens of people in Panama last year.In USA pet food was blamed for the death of dogs and cats.United States authorities turned away the Chinese products like toxic fish,juice,tainted food and toothpaste.A series of such incidents put China under lot of International pressure.
It was extremely difficult and time consuming for China to deal with the poor quality control.But something needed to be done quickly;so Chinese food and drug administrator was sentenced to death and executed for taking bribes.
China must believe that it would restore the climate of trust.
