55 Nuclear reactors of Japan
The nuclear power plant in coastal Niigata area of central Japan hit by earthquake was shut down. There has been radiation leaks. The power plant suffered broken pipes;spills of radioactive waste and certain amount of radioactive material had been emitted into the atmosphere. The news of the accident followed by an announcement from the Japanese government:
No danger for human beings.
No harm to the environment.
All is within safety standards.
Japan’s 55 nuclear reactors, which suffered a series of accidents, make me to wonder what exactly means “within safety standards” and how much really is the cover-up.
