Japan’s first-ever female Defence Minister Yuriko Koike was sworn into office. She took over the office after Fumio Kyuma,who was forced to resign over his comments that he did not resent USA’s attack on Nagasaki.Another Japanese minister called women ”birth giving machines".The defence minister promised to do all to restore trust in the government.
