Saudi Arabia bans Valentine
It was the Annual Cattle & Camel festival in Saudi Arabia.
He was dressed in black and she was wrapped in sharp bright lushly colours.
He secretly examined her for a while and then advanced towards her openly.Their eyes met and both smiled. There was no exchange of words, instead he touched her lips and a minute latter tenderly opened her mouth and thoroughly checked her teeth. Then he grabbed her back, pinched it strongly and clapped it hard with smile.
According to the Bedouin traditions he offered her tribe seven full-grown camels in exchange and next day they got married.Saudi Arabia banned Valentine’s celebrations; they have their own Saudi Valentine – The Cattle & Camel festival.
In North America and Europe it was a romantic day:long red roses, colourful elegant boxes of delicious chocolates,Champaign and kisses.Stockholm’s departmental store PUB arranged a black curtained tent in the main entry for couples to kiss and be photographed without any charges.
It was a busy day for speed dating, young men looking for “sugar mamma” and ladies for “boy toys” – Happy Valentine!
