A teenaged girl was accused to be seen with an unknown man - verdict 34 lashes.One morning near the small mosque of the village she was flogged under the Taliban law. Two strong men held her arms & feet and the third, a grey beard and black turbaned man wiped her repeatedly. She shrieked in pain with each blow. After the punishment she looked up to the sky and spoke softly, “ Lady Democracy, help me.”
In the night two unmanned drones flew over the village, fired some missiles that hit her house. Next morning the villagers held a simple funeral for the teenaged girl .
