More than thousand died, millions have been driven from their homes and millions are stranded unable to reach to the safe ground.The victims are seen on small boats in search of food and fresh water while starving children,old and sick are waiting for certain death.There is not enough food, water and medicine,not enough helicopters to distribute the supplies.The water has become contaminated;people are already facing cholera,diarrhoea and skin infections.The authorities are unable to prevent an outbreak of epidemic.
The Indian government is dumfounded by the flood,never prepared for any emergencies.
