Two wonderful leafs

In spring the wonderful leafs smiled, sang and danced with the wind and spread joy. They stayed alive under the merciless sun, survived several harsh winters and remained faithful allies of the majestic tree.
One autumn in the darkness of the night, these wonderful leafs heard a mysterious whisper. They surrendered their souls and silently departed to the invisible world. I heard a mournful rustle of the leafs thousand miles away from the forest.
