A Nameless Dread

A constant fear followed them – fear to be abandoned, fear to be neglected, fear of social and economical collapse, fear of diseases and fear of death. They evaluated the credibility of all threats; sometimes they fought against them and at time they fled. They managed the day with pounding heart and broken body.

Shame on us

They skilfully created the most complicated monetary system. They did advanced banking, back banking and gambled ruthlessly. They promised people a life of ease and luxury. This promise has turned into a pain.
All these bankers, stockbrokers, market makers, economics gurus and finance pundits fooled us once - shame on them, they fooled us again and again - shame on us.

Creative Fires

It was a pouring rain of fire in the labyrinthine world. The fire did not have any heat, glow or flames. The colours were not taken from the spectrum of light.

The change of direction

The male tigers had no territorial disputes; they mingled freely in their territories, while female tigers abandon their few months old cubs. The elephants ate cadavers, bears lost the winter sleep and monkeys became rulers of the forest. The black smoker from the ocean floor appeared on the surface, fish committed suicide; millions of bacteria on earth revolted and all living things lost the ability to communicate and to adapt to the changes.

The Cataclysmic forces

The last of the four ages was complicated. All the souls hurriedly buried all ancient prayers in the corners of their backyards and just practised the oldest sins.

All under the influence of time

It was called the land of slow moving ice rivers. In the middle of the capital there was a time wheel, a real source of knowledge. In a state of trance the pilgrims went to see all what was timeless and nobody ever came back.

Out of the realm of time

The rivers were frozen, sun was shinning 24 hours a day and the deep spiritual fragrance of sandalwood was in the atmosphere. All the inhabitants were enlightened and they lived in tranquillity and serenity.

The Loss of Light

One bright afternoon, peeping from the window I noticed an extraordinary tall person dressed in black half laying on the floor. Somehow he lifted his body up and then threw himself on the floor. He turned from right to left, left to right and then fell on the floor repeatedly. It was a shadow of an epileptic person, having seizures.
As a child it was my first encounter to shadow. Then I found my personal shadow and this black painted human figure followed me faithfully. At time it appeared stronger and powerful, sometime tiny and weak. It never left me alone and one day shadow and I would emerge in each other and become one.

A Place Beyond

Ranjeet together with his mother and sister sang Shabad - a devotional song.
“Soul is divine, divine is the soul “
It touched my heart and took me to a place beyond where souls are living for eternity.

" Wade Pure Ho - Ge "

Whenever anyone died, my mother took a deep sigh and said,
“ The promise is fulfilled. “
Once asked what exactly she meant?
She answered,“ A soul is granted to the loved ones for a specific period of time. When the time arrives we have to return the soul as promised.”
Last week we returned the mother’s soul to everlasting afterlife.

In Memory of My Mother

The inexorable process to separate soul from body started at dawn, piling memories over memories around her.Whole sorrowful life flashed before her eyes. She became speechless with fear. She looked around with graceful poise, every eye was filled with tears and every tear was washing her sorrows. In few moments the gloomy thoughts vanished and were replaced with tender memories. It was invincible calm, few souls were standing in a row and she felt presence of her firstborn with enduring smile.
I mourn for what I am never going to see again.
In my heart I would mourn my mother all eternity.

An Ancient Man

I am an ancient man from Pharaoh time. My father was a debt slave and mother adopted slavery voluntarily. She went to the house of a nobleman and begged him to feed her, protect her and guard her. I was a born household slave and then worked in the mine of Kata in Nubian along the Nile. When Master Harnutumutu built a shrine near the mine, I became gold washer of the temple.
